As a jarred pasta sauce producer, the boom in this category is astounding! In my local area, we have seen huge growth in not only the larger brands (sauz, truff) but also hyper local lines. Many restaurants have started producing their own lines and have had great traction. One thing I will say is a lot of these brands are just produced by the same co-packers with midrange ingredients. The label design is carrying the weight of the product, not necessarily the quality. Such is life!
